The Somerville/Everett/Arlington/Lexington (S.E.A.L.) MassCALL3 cluster will be hosting a Substance Misuse Prevention Data Share Back & Discussion event.

The City of Somerville’s Prevention Services division secured the MassCALL3 grant in partnership with the Cambridge Health Alliance – City of Everett, the Town of Arlington’s Youth Health & Safety Coalition, and the Town of Lexington’s Human Services department for regional substance misuse prevention work, awarded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (MA-DPH) Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) division. The goal of the grant is aimed at the prevention of the initiation of first substance misuse amongst youth. Over the last year, the cluster worked with the Institute for Community Health (ICH) in gathering information from key stakeholders in each community to inform our needs assessment process as we work towards strategic intervention planning. Additional sessions in Spanish & Portuguese respectively will be announced shortly as well.
