LOCATION
The City of Somerville and Pathways for Immigrant Workers will host a free immigration legal information session for small employers and lower-wage workers. To register, email info@myimmigrantpathway.org. Walk-ins are also welcome.
Interpretation in Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole will be available and additional languages may be requested by emailing somerviva@somervillema.gov or calling 311 at 617-666-3311.
The information session will share the process for small employers to sponsor lower-wage workers for employment-based permanent residency. Employers and workers will be invited to schedule an individual assessment with Pathways for Immigrant Workers to determine eligibility to receive pro-bono legal representation for qualifying workers.
Pathways for Immigrant Workers is a Cambridge-based non-profit legal organization that assists lower-waged workers and small employers with employer-sponsored green card applications. The organization provides pro-bono legal representation to eligible small businesses who otherwise would not have the means to obtain legal representation to sponsor their employees.
