The Mystic Learning Center, Inc. is hosting its 13th Annual Spring for Children Fundraiser on Thursday May 18, 2023. The event will include silent auction items, raffle baskets, music, delicious food, and a limited open bar, all in support of Mystic Learning Center, Inc.’s mission to improve the lives of low-income children and families who live in the Mystic Public Housing Development and surrounding neighborhoods.
his year our fundraiser theme is in memory of a dear friend of the MLC community, Stephenson "Hollywood" Aman. The world suffered a tremendous loss when Hollywood left us on May 22, 2022. He was a mentor, friend, staff member, basketball coach, and huge advocate for anyone and everyone! Though he has been gone for almost one year - Hollywood's work is still making waves in and around Somerville, especially for his Mystic family. 100% of all ticket sales and sponsorships will go directly towards the Mystic Learning Center, Inc. scholarship program for low-income youth and programming experiences for youth and community members. A massive thank you to our lead sponsor, Rafi Properties! Can't make it to the event but still would like to donate? Text 'SpringforChildren23' to 44-321. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
