Somerville Prevention and Somerville Positive Forces (SPF) youth will be hosting their 19th Annual Meeting, recapping the prevention accomplishments over the past year, and recognizing key stakeholders who contributed to our substance misuse prevention efforts.

As part of the event, we will also be featuring our annual Student Health Survey Trivia Event where attendees can participate by answering questions based on the most recent Somerville High School and Full Circle survey responses. Karin Carroll, Director of Somerville’s Health and Human Services, will be the keynote speaker. See virtual event link here – https://bit.ly/scapannual23.

Holiday: Memorial Day

All City offices are closed. Trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day.

Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony

Somerville’s annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 25, at 11 a.m. at Somerville Veterans Cemetery.

Yoga with Louise (Council on Aging)

Yoga is a joyful practice that connects the body, mind, and spirit. This is a chair-based class with the option to work on supported standing balance.
