To promote transparency in this process and ensure that this work is community-driven, the Civilian Oversight Task Force is holding these public listening sessions to collect community feedback and to ensure that the priorities, concerns, and needs of the community are at the forefront of the conversation. Attend a session to learn more about this work and share your perspectives about how Somerville's civilian oversight entity might be structured, including its powers, duties, composition, and more.

    • This in-person meeting is limited to 40 attendees
       

All listening sessions will include the following:

  • A briefing on the formation of the Civilian Oversight Task Force
  • An open question-and-answer segment
  • Information about additional resources on the topic of civilian oversight in Somerville
