LOCATION
The City of Somerville and Pathways for Immigrant Workers will host a free immigration legal information session for small employers and lower-wage workers on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at East Somerville Community School located at 50 Cross Street. The information session will share how small employers can sponsor lower-wage workers for employment-based permanent residency. Employers and workers will be invited to schedule an individual assessment with Pathways for Immigrant Workers to determine eligibility to receive pro-bono legal representation for qualifying workers.
To find out more, and register in advance, email info@myimmigrantpathway.org. Registration is not required to attend the workshop, and walk-ins are welcome.
Pathways for Immigrant Workers is a Cambridge-based non-profit legal organization that assists lower-waged workers and small employers with employer-sponsored green card applications. The organization provides pro-bono legal representation to eligible small businesses who otherwise would not have the means to obtain legal representation to sponsor their employees.
