Pursuant to SZO §15.1.3, this is a notice of intent to operate a restaurant business at 248 Elm Street, Somerville, MA under new ownership and management as a bb.q Chicken franchise. bb.q Chicken’s parent company, Genesis BBQ, (https://bbqchicken.com) was established in Seoul, Korea in 1995 with the goal of sharing high-quality Korean fried chicken with others through franchise operations. As a proposed formula business, Somerville zoning regulations require a Special Permit.
