As part of the implementation of the Somerville Bicycle Network Plan, the City of Somerville aims to increase safety and enhance mobility for people travelling on Washington Street between Tufts Street and the Boston city line.

Mayor Jake Wilson, Ward 1 Councilor Matthew McLaughlin and City Staff invite you to a community meeting to discuss the East Washington Street quick build safety improvements between Tufts Street and the city line.

Come hear an overview of the project, learn more about the opportunities in quick-build projects, and share your questions and feedback.

Following the community meeting, we will launch an online survey to gather community input and host pop-ups along Washington Street. Keep a look out for updates on the website voice.somervillema.gov/eastwashington.
