Big Gay Dance Party

Come celebrate Pride Month with an unforgettable dance party in Union Square! This free, all-ages event is a joyful celebration of love, diversity, and inclusivity, welcoming LGBTQ+ individuals and allies alike. This event is collaboratively produced by the Somerville Arts Council and the City of Somerville’s Health and Human Services Department, working together to celebrate and uplift the LGBTQ+ community.

This year we’re turning up the party with an extra hour of dancing! Join us on Saturday, June 27 (inclement weather date: June 28) from 4:30 to 8:30 PM for even more time to move and celebrate. Our theme this year is gender euphoria—everyone deserves to feel good in their body, in who they are, and we want to uplift the joy that is looking in the mirror and feeling “YES! That is ME!” Dress up in whatever makes you feel like your self-iest self, whether that is a ballgown or blue jeans, the brightest rainbow sparkles or the goth-est black. Come celebrate the you that you are with your Somerville LGBTQIA+ community!
