Join the City of Somerville for our annual Fireworks celebration with live entertainment. Enjoy an evening of music, community, food vendors, and fireworks!

Entertainment Lineup
6:00 PM – Opening performance by Pluto’s Return
6:30–7:30 PM – DJ Live spinning tunes and emceeing the evening
7:30 PM – Live performance by Search Party
9:00 PM – Mayor Remarks, National Anthem by Britney Flores, and Fireworks Countdown

Program Update: The 2026 Somerville Fireworks program will now include a special reading of the Declaration of Independence by First Lieutenant Robert V. Collins of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts in recognition of Independence Day. The reading will take place from 6:25 to 6:40 p.m.
Road Closures and Detours:
Parking Restrictions, road closures and MBTA reroutes may impact travel whether you’re driving, walking, biking, or taking public transit, check out what will be affected.
