Join us for a Heat Pumps 101 webinar in partnership with the Green Energy Consumers Alliance and Action for Boston Community Development. Whether you’re a tenant, first-time homebuyer, or a landlord, heating eats up a big part of your budget. And with summer temperatures rising every year, air conditioning is becoming more essential and a bigger financial concern. Heat pumps provide both heating and cooling and they do it without needing to burn fossil fuels that contribute to climate change. With the various incentives available, heat pumps can be more cost-effective than other options. If you’re facing a choice on your heating, perhaps your oil tank is on its last legs, or your boiler or furnace is needing more repairs, now is the time to learn about the benefits of this technology.

The webinar will present on the following topics:

·       Heat Pumps 101: What they are and how they work

·       Costs and benefits

·       Special considerations for landlords and tenants

·       Latest info on state rebates, including dedicated funds for low/moderate income residents
