LOCATION

Save the date for Saturday, September 12, 2026 (rain date: Sunday, September 13) from 12-5pm for the annual Gilman Square Arts & Music Festival, hosted by our event partners Gilman Square Neighborhood Council.

This year, while construction on Pearl Street invites us to shift locations, it also gives us a new way to experience the neighborhood together. The festival will take place at Edward L. Leathers Community Park, with portions extending along Walnut Street, including road closures from Pearl Street to Medford Street and Skilton Avenue. A new setting—but the same vibrant spirit and celebration you know and love!

Join us as we continue to explore and celebrate Gilman Square with an afternoon of live music, local artists and makers, family-friendly activities, delicious food, and community fun. Enjoy a wide variety of food from local favorites, including:

Nibble Kitchen vendors: CocoBelly Bites Jamaican Cuisine, Matki Kulfi Creamery, BanglaAdda Bengali Cuisine, Straight A’s BBQ, and Manaos Colombian Cuisine.

Along with Dos Manos Kitchen, Kuya Jay’s, Dean’s Concessions, and more.

Grab a drink in the Winter Hill Brewing Company Beer Garden.

Enjoy performances by Esh Circus and Cate the Great, plus pumpkin painting with Neighborhood Produce. Stay tuned for the full lineup of live bands, coming soon!

We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Gilman Square for this free and family friendly event!
