The Somerville Office of Immigrant Affairs (SOIA), in collaboration with the Somerville Community Corporation (SCC), invite the entire community to participate in a series of free financial education workshops conducted in Spanish. During these sessions, participants will learn practical tools to better manage money, take control of finances, and plan for the future; participants will also receive a certificate of completion for the series.
Topics we will cover:
- How to organize your money and create a plan to make it last.
- How to improve and manage credit: Tips for using credit cards wisely and maintaining a good credit score.
- Debt management strategies: Clear steps to pay off debt faster and without stress.
- How to save money consistently and build a financial cushion for unexpected events.
- The basics of putting your money to work and growing it.
