The Asian Tea Party is a monthly gathering that brings together senior constituents of Asian heritage to foster community connections through information sessions and workshops. These events provide an opportunity to learn about municipal services and community resources, while connecting with others. Presentations and workshops are typically conducted in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with interpretation into other languages available upon request. Each month, we share information on a different and timely City topic and senior resources, while enjoying light refreshments, including tea. The Tea Parties are hosted by the City's Council on Aging and the Somerville Office of Immigrant Affairs. Everyone is welcome to attend! For more information and to receive updates on upcoming Tea Parties, please contact Yi Lam at 617-625-6600 x2626.
