Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone, Ward 4 Alderman Tony Lafuente, Ward 5 Alderman Mark Niedergang, State Senator Pat Jehlen, State Representative Denise Provost, and Chief of Police David Fallon invite all community members in the Central Street/Broadway/Medford Street area of Winter Hill to attend a community meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m. to hear updates on the progress of discussions related to safety and procedures for the “VinFen home” on Central St. The meeting will be held in the Winter Hill Community School, 115 Sycamore St., in the cafeteria (please use the Medford St. entrance). Vinfen’s CEO and staff as well as officials from the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health will address neighborhood questions and concerns and discuss steps undertaken following the recent October assault.
