Haiti and Brazil Hit the Ville!

Dust off your samba shoes and work up an appetite for fritay: Haiti and Brazil Hit the Ville on Sunday, Aug. 24 is a celebration of both country's cultures. Many Brazilian and Haitian immigrants have made Somerville their home and the two countries have grown closer in the past two decades. Soccer and celebrations like Carnival also unite the two cultures.

When/Where: Aug. 24, from 2 to 7 p.m., in Union Square.
