The National Prescription Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
The city of Somerville introduced a 24-hour drop-off kiosk for al unwanted medications in 2010. The kiosk is located in the lobby of the Public Safety Building, 220 Washington St, and open to all community members 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Designated parking spaces will be made available for those wishing to drop off unwanted medications.
If applicable, any related agendas, minutes, audio/video recordings, and other materials will appear here.
