Dig Into...Seeds!

In this third workshop in
the Groundwork Somerville library series, learn about how most plants
start—as seeds!  Act out “A Year in the Life of a Seed”, play a
seed-sorting game, and read about how seeds grow into flowers,
vegetables, and trees.  You’ll also plant your very own seeds to take
home and enjoy a tasty seed snack!

Groundwork Somerville
is offering a series of three FREE library workshops for kids at the
Somerville Public Library branches this summer.  Each workshop fits into
the nationwide 2013 Collaborative Summer Library Program theme: Dig into Reading!
Recommended
for kids ages 5-7, workshops are all free and led by Groundwork
Somerville Gardens Coordinator, Lee Dwyer. Thanks to the Friends of the
Somerville Public Library for generously funding this workshop series!
