LOCATION

Join us for monthly movies on half day Wednesdays! January's movie is King Kong.

2005;

Starring Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Adrien Brody, Thomas Kretschmann,

Colin Hanks, Andy Serkis, Evan Parke, & Jamie Bell; Rated PG-13; 187

minutes

1930s vaudeville actress Ann Darrow is down on her luck. She meets Carl

Denham, an over-ambitious filmmaker, who brings her on an exploratory

expedition to Skull Island where she finds compassion and the true

meaning of humanity with a giant ape named Kong. Together, beauty and

beast finally meet their fate in New York, where the filmmaker has taken

Kong in quest of fame. Ultimately, this leads to catastrophe, and a

man who falls in love with Ann must play an unlikely hero in trying to

save her from Kong and her destiny.

This movie is free, and so is the popcorn!

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and all are welcome.
