Publishing
in literary magazines is an important part of your career as a writer.
Yet, with over 1,000 journals on the market, how do you know where to
submit work? Are there magazines that will help you catch the eye of
literary agents? Or should you focus on journals with higher acceptance
rates? Should you publish in print or online? What should go in the
cover letter? In this fun and interactive workshop, experienced writer
and editor Becky Tuch will answer these questions and more, giving you
the information that will help guide you through the world of literary
magazines. This workshop is great for writers brand new to publishing as
well as those
with more experience.

Becky Tuch is
the founding editor of The Review Review, a website dedicated to
reviewing literary magazines and interviewing journal editors. She has
received literature fellowships from The MacDowell Colony and The
Somerville Arts Council. Her fiction has won awards from and/or appeared
in numerous literary magazines, including Briar Cliff Review, Quarter After Eight, Hobart, 100 word story, and elsewhere. Other essays, fiction and poetry have appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review online, Eclipse, Folio and Connecticut River Review. In 2011 and 2012, Writer's Digest Magazine listed
The Review Review as "Best of the Best" among 101 Best Websites for Writers.
