Writing workshop with Somerville resident, Regina Hansen! During the
workshop, children will learn how to get ideas for stories, and will do
several journal exercises for writing. They will be able to read aloud
from their own mini stories. Mini stories will include 6-word short
stories and "perfect paragraph" stories. They will leave with their own
notebooks and tips on how to use them to be a writer every day. Program
will run approximately 90 minutes. Recommended for ages 9-12, and
limited to 12 kids on a first come, first served basis.
Regina Hansen, PhD, teaches writing at Boston University and has also
taught writing to at risk teenagers in the John Hancock/Boston Police
