This Training will provide an introduction to the following:

· How does an Overdose Happen?

· What is Alcohol poisoning?

· What are Opioids?

· What is NARCAN and why should I get trained as a NARCAN Responder?

Training in NARCAN Response will be provided.

The last hour of the workshop will be dedicated to learning how to become a NARCAN Responder—this is a non-medical person who can administer NARCAN to someone in order to treat a potentially fatal overdose.
