LOCATION

Join Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone to celebrate the arrival of the cutting-edge
Hubway bikeshare system.  An official ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate
Hubway’s arrival in Somerville is scheduled for
Wednesday, August 8th at 10 AM, at the City Hall
concourse kiosk, 93 Highland Avenue.  City and State officials, as well as
community groups, advocates, and cycle fans will gather to learn about the
system and enjoy refreshments at the newly installed City Hall station. 
The event will conclude with a ceremonial ride to the Union Square Hubway
station, at which point participants can linger to enjoy the square or continue
on to additional activities in neighboring municipalities.
