Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone and Ward 1 Alderman Bill Roche invite all interested community members to attend a public meeting to discuss streetscape improvements on East Broadway. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 26th at 7:00 p.m. at the Cross Street Senior Center, 165 Broadway. Elected officials and representatives from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will present information on the proposed project, which consists of the reconstruction of Broadway from Garfield Ave. to the Boston City Line. Work includes streetscape and safety improvements, crosswalk improvements, wider sidewalks and new bike lanes.
