6:30 p.m.: Introductions


6:35 p.m.: Possible Next Steps for Process

  • September: Integrate feedback from today's meeting into document.
  • November: Hold public forum after director has been hired to review/revise the recommendations. Publish final recommendations.
  • Spring: Public or Rec Task Force meeting to check on progress with recommendations and prepare for FY16 budget process.
  • 6:40 p.m. Rec Director Hiring Process
  • About 110 applicants
  • First round interviews will occur in next two weeks or so
  • Several people have volunteered to interview finalists: Jill Guardia, Lynn Ingersoll, Guillermo Hamlin
  • Each sub-group developed a question to use as part of the interview process


6:45 p.m. - 7:20 p.m. Presentations from Each Sub-Group (5 minutes each)


7:20 p.m. - 7:40 p.m. Small group discussion - what's missing?


7:40 - 8:00 p.m. Report out and compilation/summary of any points to add/revise
