The Mayor's Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development (OSPCD) will hold a community meeting on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 6:30pm, at the John F. Kennedy Elementary School Cafeteria, 5 Cherry Street, to follow up on the implementation of the Porter Square Visioning Process.

The American Legion Unit #19 will host their annual Bazaar and Penny Sale on Saturday, April 2nd from noon - 3:00 p.m. at Post #19, 124 Highland Ave.  The Bazaar will include raffle prizes and other chances, and residents of all ages awe welcome.  All proceeds will support local veterans and area V.A.

Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone would like to invite all interested community members to participate in the “2nd Annual Mayor’s Fitness Challenge”.  The program, which will kick off with an event at the Somerville High School gymnasium on Saturday, April 2nd from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

There will be a Public Hearing before the Board of Aldermen on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at 6:00 PM, in the Aldermanic Chambers, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 93 Highland Avenue, on the Order of Alderman Maryann M.
