Bicycle Advisory Committee Meeting

This is a public meeting of the Somerville Bicycle Advisory Committee. Meeting will be hybrid.

Function Junction (Council on Aging)

Focus on functional fitness with exercises that help with activities of daily living and maintaining independence!

In this class, we will work on improving coordination, enhancing muscular elasticity, and improving balance. We’ll work on both strengthening and stretching muscles to improve posture and mobility.

Somerville Winter Farmers Market

The Center for the Arts at the Armory is proud to offer a weekly winter market with 71+ local food vendors with the best locally grown and regionally produced foods, including fresh produce, cheese, eggs, meats, fish, breads, tamales, pastries, chocolate, skincare products, and more.

Free In-Person Citizenship Preparation Class

The Somerville Public Library in partnership with St. Mark Community Education Program is offering a free, 10-week U.S. Citizenship Preparation class this Spring.

New School Building Project - 115 Sycamore Site Walk and Talk #2 (WHCIS/Brown)

The Winter Hill and Brown School Communities are invited to meet with project architects Perkins Eastman at 115 Sycamore Street (home to the former Winter Hill School building). Come share your perspectives and help shape the design of Somerville’s next new school building.

New School Building Project - 115 Sycamore Site Walk and Talk #2/2 (Site Abutters/Neighbors)

Somerville is planning to build its next new school building at 115 Sycamore Street

Community members who live in the neighborhood surrounding 115 Sycamore Street are invited to meet with project architects Perkins Eastman to share their perspectives and help shape the design of Somerville’s next new school building.  

Bingo at Ralph & Jenny (Council on Aging)

Bingo starts at 10:00 a.m.
Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m.
All are welcome! Registration is required.
You will need to register on a weekly basis.
Each week call the COA Reservation line at
617-625-6600 ext. 2323, Monday or Tuesday to reserve your
spot for the following week.

Men's Group (Council on Aging)

A confidential space where men are free to speak openly and honestly about their lives, what is happening and to support each other.   New and returning members are welcome.

This one-hour session will treat you to a playlist of diverse musical offerings: a little jazz, some "oldies but goodies," a smidgen of classical, a dip into barbershop, a trip to Broadway. The music is taped but the experience is live.

LCR Game Day (Council on Aging)

LCR-Left Center Right is a fun, fast-paced dice game that you won't be able to put down! Players roll the dice to determine where they pass their chips. The last player with chips is the winner and wins the center pot.
