Walking Club (Council on Aging)

Connect with friends new and old while spending time out in nature. This group walks at a moderate pace and is a great way to add movement to your day. Explore nature trails and the streets of Somerville for an enjoyable journey.

Coffee & Snack from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Join us for this staff-led discussion group which covers a range of topics thought up by participants. This is a friendly group, where all topics are discussed respectfully.

Enjoy SCOA’s signature General Exercise class in the comfort of your home! Simply click a zoom link to join the live class online. This is a chair-based workout with the option to use light handheld weights and do supported standing strength and balance activities. Virtual Small Business Office Hours

Virtually join the Small Business Office Hours,  held Thursdays from 4:00-5:00PM. Join in to talk to city staff from Economic Development, Licensing, and ISD to discuss any questions regarding permits, licenses, or your business. Attendees will be held in a waiting room and admitted to speak with staff in order of which they joined the call.

LGBTQIA+ Virtual General Exercise (Council on Aging)

This is an online version of the General Exercise class that welcomes the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Enjoy seated exercises with the option to use dumbbells and work on standing strength and balance. This easy-to-follow workout focuses on functional fitness to maintain an independent lifestyle.
