September is National Recovery Month! As part of Somerville's Year of the Neighbor initiative, neighbors are invited to learn about overdose prevention with the Somerville Health and Human Services Department.
Presented by the Somerville Department of Health and Human Services, these trainings will help participants learn how to recognize and respond to a possible overdose.

Add some movement to your day! General Exercise is a chair-based fitness class with supported standing strength training and balance. We’ll use a variety of props such as a play ball, resistance band, and weights to practice functional movement patterns. Enjoy moving to music while doing easy-to follow cardio, mobility, strengthening and stretching exercises.
Incorporating all food groups into our diets is a great way to create proper balance. Knowing how much of each food group to eat, can be confusing but knowing your body fat and body mass index can help understand what you need.
