LOCATION

The Somerville Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is holding its annual Community Preservation Plan public hearing on Wednesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in the Somerville High School Cafeteria at 81 Highland Ave. The Community Preservation Plan establishes the annual funding priorities and allocations for the three categories that Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds can support. The draft plan is available at www.somervillema.gov/CPA.

The workshop will cover the process for applying for CPA funds for a project on City land, restrictions for open space and historic resources projects, and the program to support feasibility studies for some proposed projects.

Interested persons may provide comments to the Community Preservation Committee at the hearing and by submitting written comments by Thursday April  30th at 4:30 pm, by email to jtumusiime@somervillema.gov or by mail to Judith Tumusiime, SomerStat, 93 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143.
