LOCATION

Members of the public are invited to join the annual meeting of the Job Creation and Retention Trust. This virtual public forum will be an opportunity to meet the Board of Trustees, hear an update on the board’s first round of investments, and share your input on next year’s investment priorities.

The Job Creation and Retention Trust Fund was created in 2018 to use the linkage fees collected from commercial development to provide and enhance employment opportunities for Somerville residents. The Fund has distributed $968,162 this past year, including a $100,000 emergency fund to support low-income workers disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

To register for the annual meeting and attend online, visit bit.ly/JobsTrustMeeting. For more information on the Job Creation and Retention Trust, please visit www.somervillema.gov/jcrt or contact Ben Sommer at bsommer@somervillema.gov.

Please join my meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
