LOCATION

The Somerville Viaduct, carrying I-93 through the City of Somerville, will be going through structural repairs in order to maintain its functionality. The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed project. All views and comments made at the hearing will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

How will this affect you?

The Somerville Viaduct Preservation Project will create significant impacts to the community and commuters during construction. During the public hearing, MassDOT will review the construction activities and schedule, partial and/or full roadway closures, traffic detours, and community impacts. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer comments. The purpose of this hearing webinar is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed SOMERVILLE- BRIDGE PRESERVATION, I-93 NB AND SB FROM ROUTE 28 TO TEMPLE STREET project. All views and comments submitted in response to the webinar will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.
