LOCATION

There will be a public hearing at this regular meeting of the Somerville City Council to determine the percentage of local tax levy to be borne by each class of real and personal property for Fiscal Year 2021, as required by MGL c40 s56. 

At this public hearing, Frank Golden, Chief Assessor and Chairman of the Somerville Board of Assessors, will provide information and data relevant to making a determination, including the fiscal effects of the available alternatives.

This meeting of the City Council will be conducted by remote participation, using the GoToWebinar platform.

You have two ways to be heard at this meeting:
1. To attend and be heard, enter this link into your internet browser any time before the

You can also find this link on the City website’s calendar. You will then be asked to register, and after registering, you will receive an email with instructions to join the webinar.

2. If you are unable to attend but wish to be heard, you may email your comments to cityclerk@somervillema.gov , send them by US mail to the City Clerk, 93 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA, 02143, or drop them into the secure drop box outside the back door on the School Street side of City Hall. Your comments must arrive no later than 12 Noon on the day of the Hearing, in order to be sure they are conveyed to the Council.
