Brazilian Flag Raising in Somerville Mayor Katjana Ballantyne, Brazilian Women’s Group and Somerviva invite you to the first Brazilian Flag Raising in Somerville to celebrate the Brazilian Independence Day. This historic event, which is part of the 28th Brazilian Independence Festival organized by the Brazilian Women’s Group, is scheduled for September 6th, Wednesday, at noon, at the City Hall Concourse (93 Highland Avenue). Rain date: September 8th, 11am. The Brazilian Anthem will be performed by the Brazilian soprano Natália Hubner. Hasteamento da Bandeira do Brasil em Somerville A Prefeita Katjana Ballantyne, o Grupo da Mulher Brasileira e SomerViva convidam você para celebrar o dia da Independência do Brasil no 1º Hasteamento da Bandeira do Brasil em Somerville. Esse evento histórico, que integra a programação do 28º Festival da Independência do Brasil, organizado pelo Grupo da Mulher Brasileira, acontecerá na quarta-feira, 06 de setembro, ao meio-dia, na área externa em frente ao prédio da Prefeitura de Somerville (93 Highland Avenue). O Hino Nacional Brasileiro será interpretado pela soprano brasileira Natália Hubner. Importante: em caso de chuva, o evento será transferido para sexta-feira, 08 de setembro, às 11h.
