Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 87, the City of Somerville will hold a virtual public shade tree hearing on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. using Zoom software to consider the removal of the following public shade tree:

9 Taylor Street – One Norway maple tree, 13 inches in diameter, fair condition

Tree is proposed for removal to allow for the installation of a driveway at 9 Taylor St. More information on the project will be provided during the hearing. The tree identified above has been posted for public inspection. In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 87, any objections to the removal of this tree must be submitted in writing to the Tree Warden prior to or at this public hearing. Documents may be sent via email to: trees@somervilleMA.gov, or mailed to: David Jackson– Tree Warden, City of Somerville, 1 Franey Rd, Somerville, MA 02145.
