LOCATION

In celebration of National
Bike Month and the Mayor's Fitness Challenge, Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone will lead
a bike ride through Somerville on Friday, May 20. The ride will start from the
City Hall Concourse at 1 p.m. and feature many of the new and repainted bike
lanes and sharrows (which are roads marked to inform motorists to share the
road with cyclists) throughout Somerville. City Hall employees also will be
riding into work that morning from Teele Square, Davis Square and Union Square.

One of the goals of Bike
Month is to demonstrate the health and convenience benefits of using a bicycle
as a primary means of transportation.
