LOCATION

The Somerville Council on Aging invites all interested residents to a two-part

series, “Effective Communication for Family Caregivers,” for adult children

caring for aging parents.  The workshops

will be held on Tuesday, May 14th and Tuesday, May 21st

from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the Tufts Administration Building, 167 Holland Street,

in the second floor senior center.  The

first session, “Communicating with Healthcare Providers,” will include a

discussion with Dr. Daphne Schneider of the Cambridge Health Alliance, and the

second session, “Communication Within the Family,” will feature Lindsay Brennan

of Life Care Directions of New England, LLC.
