Artists, makers, and creative organizations: the City of Somerville has extended the submission deadline for the Somerville Armory leasing Request for Proposals (RFP). Proposals are now due Wednesday, March 18, by 2 p.m.
The Armory RFP is an invitation to make this landmark your home base — and to help grow it into a thriving, multi-tenant arts and cultural hub at the heart of Somerville.

Scholarships Available for Somerville Class of 2026
Seven scholarships available to Somerville residents in the Class of 2026; Apply by deadline March 27, 2026
Somerville's 2026 high school graduates are invited to apply for City of Somerville Municipal Scholarships designed to help students launch their next steps be that professional training, college, or a job in the trades. Selected applicants will receive $2,000 to help with post-secondary education expenses including tuition, professional programs and certifications, and union fees. The deadline to apply is March 27, 2026.
