Ready, set, go! The City's annual Shape Up Somerville / Somerville Recreation Road Race is set for Sun., Apr. 19, beginning and ending at the Somerville High School Concourse at 81 Highland Ave.
The Somerville Public Library will host a talk by journalist Elizabeth Segran on the rise of feminism in the Islamic world on Thurs., April 16 at 7 p.m. All are welcome, free of charge.
Please help SomerPromise and our many collaborators celebrate National Week of the Young Child. On Tuesday, April 14th, from 10-11:30am, City Hall offices will host an Open House to young children, their caregivers, and their advocates.
This promises to be a fascinating talk by Lieutenant Colonel Enoch Woodhouse, USAF, who is one of the surviving members of the Tuskegee Air Force. He is a very engaging speaker and we are lucky to have him come to Somerville!
