Join us as we learn about a wide range of arts & crafts from weaving to watercolor pencils. We will also be sharing with each other various arts & crafts that we might already do on our own such as needlepoint and knitting.

Residents will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Christine Andrews, City of Somerville Housing and Environment Programs Coordinator; Mary Mangan, resident and Solar Coach; and Brian Hession, SolarFlair representative. Residents who have signed their contracts are invited to stop by to pick up a free Solarize Somerville t-shirt or hat.

This is a public meeting to discuss the renovation of the Winter Hill Community Schoolyard.
Due to its fragile condition, the cemetery is often closed to the public, except by appointment, or during regular openings during the seasonal months. At those times, volunteer docents, often dressed in historic period clothing, will help you learn a little about the buried residents.

Participants will learn the history of quilting and watercolor use the first week. The second week you be creating your own framed painting. The last week will be the Quilt Exhibit along with refreshments.
