2022 Union Square Farmers Market

Join your favorite local food producers for the 18th Annual Union Square Farmers Market! Shop local every Saturday from May 14-October 29 from 9am-1pm on the Union Square Plaza. We certainly hope pandemic conditions improve over the season, but starting on May 14 we will have a COVID-conscious masked shopping hour at each Market from 9-10am.

Please join the staff of the Office of Sustainability and Environment for Virtual Office Hours, held monthly on the second Thursday of the month from 5-7 PM via Zoom, excluding holidays.

Music & Munch (Council on Aging)

This 45-minute session via Zoom will treat you to a playlist of diverse musical offerings: a little jazz, some "oldies but goodies," a smidgen of classical, a dip into barbershop, a trip to Broadway. The music is taped but the experience is live. Your guide is Somerville Resident, Laura Zoll, trained as a medieval musicologist and with a life-long love of all things musical.

Mindful Eating "Getting Back to Basics" (Council on Aging)

This 4-week workshop will help us enjoy foods and reach satiety, or the sensation of feeling full, while making healthy choices. It’s time to get back to basics, ditch the rules, use sound nutrition as a guideline and truly listen to what our bodies need. It’s time for mindful eating.
