Family Fun Day

Celebrate the start of summer and join the City of Somerville Parks and Recreation Department for the annual Family Fun Day event.

Movie Day (Council on Aging)

This month’s movie is “La Dolce Villa” starring Scott Foley and Violante Placido.  A successful businessman travels to Italy to stop his daughter from spending all her money Running time is 1 hour and 39 minutes.  

Balletone

Balletone is a program for the Non-Dancer and everyBODY. Ballet techniques provide a foundation for healthier posture, body alignment, improved balance, and control of the body. Balletone is influenced by Pilates, with centering and flowing transitions that are gentle and slow.

We are celebrating our urban forest with a special Somerville Arbor Day event on June 26th.

Blood Pressure Screening (Council on Aging)

Celeste Gearhart, Director of Public Health Nursing, along with Ella Fernando, Public Health Nurse will be at the COA the last Thursday of the month to take your blood pressure.

Community Health Worker Division Hours

Join us every other Thursday at Connexion from 11 am – 1 pm. We will provide hygiene kits, snacks, and referrals to internal and external partners for various services.

Metro Boston Homeland Security Region's JPOC Meeting

Public meeting of a regional group with participants and topics of discussion that relate to the metro Boston region. The meeting will be held virtually.

Coffee & Conversations Holland Street (Council on Aging)

Join us for this staff-led discussion group which covers a range of topics thought up by participants.  This is a friendly group, where all topics are discussed respectfully.
