Public Meeting: Bus Network Redesign - Inner Core

The Bus Network Redesign is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to make bold improvements to the bus network for the people who depend on it most.

We’re proposing a better bus network and want to hear what you think. At this meeting, MBTA staff will provide an in-depth presentation on the proposed network map and lead small group discussions.

Project Outlook (Council on Aging)

Project Outlook is a group of constituents with low or no vision who enjoy getting together for camaraderie and socialization. Project Outlook meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Holland St. Center 167 Holland Street. This month we will be meeting on Thursday, June 16th. Music & Movement Enrichment with Steve (Council on Aging)

Join Steve as he plays guitar, sings and leads gentle movements. Just tapping your toe or singing along can help move your body in new ways. Being physically active is not just good for our bodies, but it is also one of Mental Health America’s 10 tools to building resiliency; or the ability to overcome obstacles and manage through tough times.

Pathways to Citizenship: Beginner ESOL/Civics Class

This class will be held on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 on Zoom and is for adults who are interested in improving their English skills in order to apply for US citizenship. Registration is required: https://tinyurl.com/pathwaystocitizenship. Students can also contact me and I can help them register.

LRC (Council on Aging)

Left, Right, Center

We will be holding two LRC Game Day sessions. LCR Left Center Right is a fun, fast-paced dice game that you won't be able to put down! Players roll the dice to determine where they pass their chips. The last player with chips is the winner and wins the center pot.

MBTA Travel, Training and You (Council on Aging)

Join us for a presentation by MBTA Travel Training about the safe use of the MBTA by older adults.  

 Hear more about how to apply for a Senior Charlie Card, asking for help, paying one’s fare, accessibility of vehicles and stations, trip planning and much more.
