Calling all environmental stewards: learn how to identify and remove the invasive plants that are trying to take over your community!
In this workshop, you will: learn why invasive species are harmful to native ecosystems, identify common invasives in Somerville, and practice hands-on invasive removal!
We are hosting an Open House to discuss the new version of the Brickbottom Small Area Plan. We encourage all area residents and workers to drop by and share their thoughts and questions with one of our team members. Ice cream will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis! There will be no formal presentation.
Toddlers, preschoolers, and parents of toddlers and preschoolers! Do you want to learn about the pollinators that live in your own community? Come to South Street Farm to explore the wonders of nature. We'll read a book about pollinators, explore the growing space, and plant some seedlings that you can take home with you!
