Our annual SomerMovie Fest is back with free, family-friendly films starting just after sunset! Showings are scheduled every Thursday evening at dusk from July 5 to August 30. Screenings will take place at different locations around the city, and you can see the full schedule below.
A public hearing for all interested parties will be held by the Design Review Committee.
Starting at 6 p.m.-
View the mural on the wall of Taco Loco and hear from artist David Zayas.
Then join the parade led by local Brazilian band and activist group Grooversity down the street to Angurria's mural at Ola Cafe.
Hear from artist Angurria and stay for refreshments and music outside the East Somerville branch library!

Although timelines are subject to change, current plans for the construction of the Green Line Extension (GLX) call for the full closure of the Broadway Bridge, just east of Ball Square, for one full year beginning in late 2018. While the bridge is closed, detours will be in place for cars, bikes, pedestrians, and MBTA bus routes 80 and 89.
