Please note that under the guidance of the Somerville Office of Immigrant Affairs (SOIA), this year we welcome all Somerville residents - regardless of their preferred language - to join their neighbors at the Ward community meetings. We've listened to community feedback and have made adjustments so that Ward meetings feel welcoming and provide opportunities for our community to connect together.

Interpretation and translation services are available at no cost to the public in any language including English so that all of our community can listen, connect, and be heard. We are excited to announce this change and to work towards greater inclusion, mutual understanding, and a Somerville where all voices matter. For any questions regarding this change, please contact Maria-Theresa Nagel at mnagel@somervillema.gov

All meetings will start at 6:30 p.m. and be preceded by a meet-and-greet starting at 6 p.m. for those joining in-person. Interpretation into Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Kreyol, Nepali, Mandarin, Cantonese, or other languages may be requested in advance by contacting the SomerViva Office of Immigrant Affairs at somerviva@somervillema.gov or calling 311 at 617-666-3311. Please only make a request on behalf of another if you have confirmation they will attend. Interpretation availability is also being advertised during multilingual outreach efforts.

More details will soon be made available on the Community Meetings page at somervillema.gov/communitymeetings.
