The City is declaring a snow emergency to go into effect at 7 a.m. on Sunday, January 25. Beginning at 7 a.m., cars will have 4 hours (until 11 a.m.) to move to the ODD side of the street. Balletone is a program for the Non-Dancer and everyBODY. Ballet techniques provide a foundation for healthier posture, body alignment, improved balance, and control of the body.
The Somerville Council on Aging, in collaboration with Harvard University’s Poetry without Boarders course, are hosting intergenerational sessions to learn about and celebrate poetry.
This free-to-enter intergenerational pop-up will be a public space pilot, a living room for the community, a resource center, and an arts, culture, and business incubator. It will be open daily from 1 to 8 pm until June 9.
This Financial Literacy Workshop is a dynamic and engaging session tailored specifically for the Portuguese-speaking community.
Classes offer a session of gentle, easy-to-follow movements meant to be performed while sitting or standing.
Thursday, March 7th, 21st & 28th at 6pm on Zoom. March 14th at 6pm in person at the Holland Street Center.
