This structure was built in 1903 to honor the troops who camped atop the hill during both the Revolutionary War and Civil War. It was designated as a Local Historic District in 1985 and was just recently re-stabilized through a 2015 Somerville CPA grant.

SOMERVILLE – SomerStreets: Carnaval returns for its 8th year of shaking up East Somerville! SomerStreets will kick off the 2017 season Sunday, June 4, from 2 to 6 p.m. (rain date Sunday, June 11).
