Join us for the opening of FabVille, a publicly run Fabrication Laboratory or “Fab Lab” located in the Somerville High School. Similar to a makerspace, a Fab Lab is a facility with the purpose of bringing manufacturing to the masses and educating the public in digital fabrication technologies, such as 3D printing.
This is a public meeting of the Somerville Housing Authority.
Join us as we learn about a wide range of arts & crafts from weaving to watercolor pencils. We will also be sharing with each other various arts & crafts that we might already do on our own such as needlepoint and knitting.

Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone, the Somerville Commission for Women, and RESPOND announce the Annual Candlelight Vigil in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The vigil is an annual event bringing the community together in remembrance of those who have lost their lives over the last year to domestic violence.
This structure was built in 1903 to honor the troops who camped atop the hill during both the Revolutionary War and Civil War. It was designated as a Local Historic District in 1985 and was just recently re-stabilized through a 2015 Somerville CPA grant.
The City welcomes businesses and residents to attend a Plastic Bag Ban ordinance information session to learn about the new ordinance, get ideas about alternative bag options, and more.
This is an open meeting for the Hoyt Sullivan Playground Renovation.
