Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2025, this meeting of the Somerville Commission for Women may be conducted via remote participation.
This one-hour session will treat you to a playlist of diverse musical offerings: a little jazz, some "oldies but goodies," a smidgen of classical, a dip into barbershop, a trip to Broadway. The music is taped but the experience is live.
A confidential space where men are free to speak openly and honestly about their lives, what is happening and to support each other. New and returning members are welcome.

Yoga is a joyful practice that connects the body, mind, and spirit. This is a chair-based class with the option to work on supported standing balance.

We use a play ball, weights and resistance band to work on functional movement patterns. Enjoy moving to music while doing easy-to-follow cardio, mobility, strengthening and stretching exercises.

this meeting of the School Committee will be conducted via Zoom Webinar Participation.
Join the signature SCOA class in the East Somerville area. We’ll use a play ball, resistance band, and handheld weights to do seated exercises with optional standing strength and balance activities. Enjoy music while doing easy-to-follow functional movements that help support an independent and active lifestyle.
Join this live online class that focuses on strength training and balance. This is a chair-based workout with the option of doing supported standing activity and using handheld weights. Practice exercises that will keep your body and mind healthy, strong, and active.

Somerville is planning to build its next new school building at 115 Sycamore Street
Community members who live in the neighborhood surrounding 115 Sycamore Street are invited to meet with project architects Perkins Eastman to share their perspectives and help shape the design of Somerville’s next new school building.
The Somerville Public Library in partnership with St. Mark Community Education Program is offering a free, 10-week U.S. Citizenship Preparation class this Spring.
